Releasing today, Tamizh Padam is a comedy movie which again shifts towards emotional attyachaar at end for love. This movie is a spoof on commercial mass movies that follow the same formula. Hero will fall in love with arich girl, however she is out of reach of him and definitely gets her and then fights with her father who is a damn politician for the sake of his ethics.
The movie is produced by Cloud Nine Movies, a film by ‘Mirchi’ Siva, the RJ turned actor. Media partnered by IndiaGlitz, the movie is said to be a satire on so called commercial movies of Tamil cinema.
With mostly new faces in lead roles, ‘Tamil Padam’ would be on the lines of Hindi hit ‘Om Shanti Om’, according to sources. Proving this, newspaper advertisements of the film took a comical dig at some of the clichés that a typical Tamil cinema hero would follow.
