Vishnuvardhan finished his 200th movie with Aptharakshaka, which was releasing on February 19, 2010. This is sequel movie of Apthamitra which was released in 2004. Movie last song set completed in Bangalore. Main cast name are Vishnuvardhan, Sandhya, Vimala Raman, Avinash, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy.
Aptharakshaka Movie Review :Aptharakshaka is the sequel of Apthamitra. This movie is all about the story of Nagavalli. Vishnuvardhan and Vimala Raman are in lead roles. Vishnuvardhan plays the role of a psychiatrist and Vimala Raman as nagavalli, Avinash as magician.
Aptharakshaka second part of Apthamitra Kannada Movie
Director of Dr. Vishnuvardhan starrer Apthamitra is now working on its second part, Aptharakshaka. While it features Vishnu’s character, it is not a sequel to Apthamitra. P Vasu is also in thoughts to make a Hindi film. Even though the media has reported that it will star Saif Ali Khan, he is denying it.
Some production houses have approached him but they are still in the initial stages of discussion. He plans to start on his Hindi film only after Aptharakshaka completes.
Written and directed by noted director P. Vasu, Dr. Vishnuvardhan’s 200th film Aptharakshaka has commenced on March 10. Dr. Vishnu reported for shooting on March 16. Most portions of the film will be filmed in a huge house in Palani.
Aptharakshaka is the sequel of the super hit Apthamithra. Soundarya was the heroine of Apthamithra; Aptharakshaka has five heroines: Bhavana, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Nikita, Vimala Raman and Sandya. The supporting cast includes veteran actor Srinivasamurthy who will again play the head of the family, and Avinash, who is retained in the role of the ‘Mantravadi’.
Apthamithra, which was a remake of the Malayalam film Manichithrathazhu, is based on Multiple Personality Disorder. This was Soundarya’s last film. (She was killed in a plane crash in 2004.) This hugely successful film was remade in Tamil as Chandramukhi with Rajinikanth in the lead role.
